Mahariya Balaji Maharaj Temple

Ramayana is recited here during Navratri

Mahariya village is situated about 5 kilometers from Bagdi village situated between Lalsot and Sawai Madhopur on Dausa Sawai Madhopur highway. There is an ancient Balaji temple in the village. It is believed that this temple is more than 100 years old. Along with the villagers of Mahariya village, other people also have faith in this temple. Every year during Navratri, Ramayana is recited here and special puja is done here on Dussehra. The famous Khurra Mata temple is also situated near the place.

The nearest railway station is Sawai Madhopur and bus stand Lalsot, but it is better to travel here by your own means. There are no arrangements for accommodation and food yet.
