The Shiv Linga in the Mahadev Temple at Manaspuri is very unique. The mass here is seen to be about 2 feet. The diameter of the ingot appears to be 1 to 1.5 feet. The famous fort of Kandahar in Nanded district is just 5km from Mahadev temple at Manaspuri
It is 10 to 15 minutes away.

An ancient Shiva temple appeared inside the land while cultivating at Shivar in Manaspuri village near Kandhar town of Nanded, it was inaugurated as it was a grand village of Mahadev with a huge Grab Garh. On March 1, 2017, people started digging with the help of JCB. As soon as the stones were removed from the place, and a little sand was removed from the area below, people got the entire temple area. The Shiva Linga was found with approximately 4×4 dimensions and 8×8 Garbha Graha. There were beautiful carvings on the walls of the temple. The temple was completely buried under the ground. A 100 feet high statue of Kshetrapal was also found next to this temple in 1984, it is said that there were ancient big ponds in this area, but today there seems to be a big flat ground at this place.

The restoration of the temple is done by the trust.
