According to the Puranic texts, Mata Vrinda Devi was born in the demon family. He was an ardent devotee of Lord Vishnu. She was married to the demon Jalandhar. Vrinda Devi was his wife. Once when the demon went out to fight the Jalandhar gods, Sati Vrinda said, “I will continue to perform rituals for your safety and victory until you come back home. They performed rituals at the Sri Vrinda Devi temple. Due to the devotion of Vrinda Devi, the gods started losing to Jalandhar.
