The oldest Shiva temple which was built by the kings and Mandalikas of Parmar ruler, this Shiva temple is very mythological and this temple is situated between two villages. The name of this temple is Maha Mandaleshwar.

This temple is situated in Parahera village near the village named Gopinath ka Gada near Partapur city in Garhi tehsil of Banswara district.

Parahera Shiv Temple is situated near Partapur town of Garhi tehsil of Banswara. It is 25 km away from Banswara district of the Indian state of Rajasthan. This temple is known for its old and excellent sculptures.

Many people come here to worship Lord Shiva. There is a broken statue of Nandi in front of the temple. Parhera village is known as ‘Parenda’. There are many small Shiva temples and untidy Dharamshalas around Parhera Shiva Temple. It is quite popular for its fine Rajput style architecture and fine carvings of sculptures on the walls.

You can see some fascinating artworks and sculptures on its interior walls, which will tell you stories written in old Hindu epics and mythology. The place is still owned and maintained by the royal family, while other temples are managed and maintained by the government.
