It is believed that on Mani Parvat, Bhagwan Ram ji used to swing (Jhula jhulna) with Mata Sita on the day of Hariyali Teej during the month of Shavan. This tradition, which began in the Treta Yuga, still continues even in the present. Bhagwan Ram swings on Mani Parvat, devotees enjoy the Jhulan Utsav in temples, engaging in worship, offering prayers, and seeking blessings through darshan.

Mani Parvat in Ayodhya is at a height of 65ft. It is believed to be a part of the hill of Sanjeevani booti that lord Hanuman carried. It is said that it was fallen from Hanuman when he was carrying the hill in his hand in order to heal Lakshman. It gives a great view of Ayodhya from atop the hill to the visitors. The view is mesmerizing for photo lovers. There are many shrines atop the hill for the visitors to worship.
