The specialty of this temple is that here people worship the Mother Goddess not with their eyes closed but with their eyes open and ask for their wishes.
Presently five courts are located in the premises of this ancient temple which include those of Shiva Parivar, Durgamata, Mansha Mata, Santoshi Mata and Rambhakt Hanuman. This temple is built on four and a half bighas of land. Apart from the main temple, 25 other temples have been built. In the initial period, people were afraid to come here because earlier there was a forest here and there was a cremation ground near the forest, in the middle of which there used to be a temple. But today this temple is a major center of faith. Special puja is performed here on Sundays and devotees whose wishes are fulfilled distribute special Bhandara or Prasad here on Sundays.
Another form of Mansha Devi can also be seen in Baragaon of Baghpat near Meerut. People come to this temple not only from Baghpat but also from Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut and Haryana. There is a popular story related to Mansha Devi being the Siddhapeeth situated in Baghpat. It is said that King Ravana of Lanka had performed penance from the Himalayas and brought Goddess Shakti with him. He did not have to keep this power in the middle of the way because mother had told Ravana that if you keep me somewhere on the way, I will get established there. Ravana left for Lanka with his mother.
On the way, he could not bear the weight of the mother and placed the idol on the earth in Baragaon, Baghpat. Since then Maa Mansha is present in the temple of Baragaon.
