Nandikeshwar Mahadev Kathmandu,Nepal
This temple of Nandikeshwar Mahadev is located in Naxal of Kathmandu. This temple is very attractive in a large area. This temple was built in the year 1858 BS by Suvarna Prabha, the Mahili wife of Shri Ran Bahadur Shah. When the temple was destroyed by a massive earthquake in 1990, Juddha Shamsher built a dome-style temple and a chaughara in 1991. According to the Devmala genealogy, Amar Singh Vanda rebelled against Shivamat and tortured Shankaracharya. In the anger of Shankaracharya, he killed the Buddhists. In the year 1857 BS, during the time of Mr. Girwan, a three-storied temple and a sattal were built around it and a guthi was kept for ever. There is an amazing Shivalinga in this temple complex which is four sized.
