In Reiki healing, Cho Ku Rei, pronounced Cho-Koo-Ray, is the power symbol. Cho Ku Rei is one of the symbols that Reiki practitioners all over the world use most often. It keeps you safe while you practise Reiki, which makes the art of healing go faster and work better. It speeds up and strengthens the Reiki healing process by acting as a catalyst. The Cho Ku Rei helps Reiki healing by protecting both the healer and the person being healed. By calling on the Cho Ku Rei, a practitioner can tap into life energy and send it to different parts of the body.
Most of the time, the Cho Ku Rei is used with other Reiki symbols to boost and strengthen their powers. When used at the beginning or end of a healing session, it works best.
One of the first symbols that Mikao Usui, a Japanese Reiki healer, found was the Cho Ku Rei. A lot of Reiki masters all over the world think that the Cho Ku Rei is the most powerful healing symbol.
The Cho Ku Rei is different from many of the other Reiki symbols because it is not written in Japanese Kanji but in Kana, a type of alphabet that shows sounds rather than meanings. Since Cho Ku Rei is written in Kana, it is hard to figure out exactly what Mikao Usui meant by it.
Still, Reiki masters all agree that Cho Ku Rei is mostly a power symbol.
