PANCHMUKHI MAHADEV MANDIR SONBHADRA
There is a very ancient Shiva temple situated in the mountain at a distance of about 8 km from Robertsganj, the district headquarters of Sonbhadra district.
Here there is a five faced idol of Lord Shiva in Shivalinga. There are also wall paintings from thousands of years ago in this hilly area.

Panchmukhi Mahadev Temple is located in Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh. This temple is located in Churk, about 8 kilometers south of Robertsganj. It is situated about 2 kilometers inland from the main highway. The people here believe that this temple and its caves are 5-6 thousand years old. The ancient paintings in these caves look very attractive.
The Panchmukhi Mahadev temple of Sonbhadra is situated on a hill, ancient wall paintings are still present in the rocks and caves of the mountains here. People here say that in ancient times there used to be a complete forest here and wild animals also used to reside in these caves. Pure air keeps coming from all sides on the hill. The hill of this Panchmukhi Mahadev temple is situated at a height of about 500 meters from the ground. A level path and stairs have also been made to climb this hill.
