Paudiwala Shiv Temple Khajurna, Himachal Pradesh
It is a historical temple of Lord Shiva situated amidst the forest and near Nahan. There is a famous story about this place. When Shri Ram was about to become the king of Ayodhya, Ravana performed rigorous penance of Lord Shiva to become immortal. Lord Shiva was pleased with his penance and said that if he made 5 pauris in a day, he would become immortal. First at Pauri Haridwar, second at Pauriwala, third at Chudeshwar Mahadev (Chudhar, Solan), fourth at Kinnar Kailash and after that he felt tired and slept. When he woke up the next day, he was not immortal.
