700 years ago a king was leaving here. Maharaj stopped here and did penance. On the appearance of Lord Shiva, Maharaj said that the villagers will come in the morning. You stay here as a favor to them. Shiv ji gave a toothpick to Maharaj and said, do this and plant it on the ground here and pour water on it every day. I will stay here as long as it continues to grow and remain green.
