Pride
Once upon a time, when Lord Shri Krishna had brought the Parijat tree from heaven to his wife Satyabhama, Satyabhama had become proud of the fact that she was the most beautiful and Lord Shri Krishna’s
She is a very dear queen.
Similarly, when Sudarshan Chakra neutralized Indra’s thunderbolt, he also became proud that when God has no solution left in the war,
He takes his help only.
Similarly, Garudji, the vehicle of Shri Hari Vishnuji also started understanding that God cannot go anywhere without me because no one can compete with my speed.
Lord Shri Krishna knew that these three of his devotees had become egoistic and the time had come to destroy their ego. Then Lord Shri Krishna remembered Hanumanji who created the leela.
As soon as Lord Krishna was remembered, Hanumanji knew for what special purpose he was being remembered.
Now Lord Krishna said to Garuda-
Hey Garuda! You go to Hanuman ji and tell him that Lord Shri Ram has called him to Dwarka, if possible then bring him with you. After getting the permission of Lord Shri Krishna, Garud ji went to call Hanuman ji.
Garudji approached Hanumanji and said – O best of monkeys! Lord Shri Ram has remembered you. you sit on my back
I will send you to the Lord quickly.
Hanumanji politely said to Garuda, you go, I will come. Garuda thought, I don’t know when Hanumanji will reach?
Well should I ever reach,
My work is completed.
I am leaving. Thinking this, Garudji quickly
Headed towards Dwarka.
Here in Dwarka, Lord Krishna took the form of Shri Ram and sat on the throne with Satyabhama.
Sudarshan Chakra was ordered to guard the entrance of the palace and ensure that no one should enter the palace without my permission.
After receiving God’s permission, Sudarshan Chakra was deployed at the entrance of the palace.
Just then Hanumanji had reached the door. Sudarshan Chakra stopped Hanuman and said that you cannot go inside without permission, Hanumanji placed Sudarshan Chakra in his mouth and quickly went to meet his Lord.
Hanumanji went inside and bowed to Lord Shri Ram sitting on the throne and
Said- “Lord, aren’t you late in coming?” Also said, “Where is Lord Mother Sita? Who is this maid sitting with you today in his place?”
Satyabhama heard this
she was very embarrassed
And so is all his ego
Was shattered.
Just then, tired Garuddev also reached there. When Garuda ji saw Hanumanji there, he was surprised that how did Hanumanji reach here at a speed faster than my speed? In this way Garudji’s ego was also shattered.
Then Shri Ram asked Hanumanji, O son of the wind! How did you enter the palace without permission?
Didn’t anyone stop you at the entrance?
Hanumanji said, “Forgive me Lord… I thought there would be a delay in your darshan… That is why I did not get entangled with this chakra, I pressed it in my mouth.”
Saying this, Hanuman ji took out the Sudarshan Chakra from his mouth and placed it at the feet of the Lord.
kept.
In this way all the pride of Sudarshan Chakra was also destroyed.
Now the pride of all three was shattered and God also wanted the same.
Satyabhama, Garuda and Sudarshan Chakra said, Lord, your leela is amazing.
The ego of his devotees was removed by his devotee himself.
Glory to you Lord!
God never allows pride in his devotees.
If Lord Krishna had not removed the pride of Satyabhama, Garuda and Sudarshan Chakra, then all three of them would not have been able to live near him… and
Only he who is free from ‘I’ and ‘mine’ can remain close to God.
Hanumanji was able to stay so close to Lord Shri Ram because neither Lord Shri Ram nor his devotee Hanuman had pride. Neither Lord Shri Ram ever said that I have done this nor Hanuman ji said that I have done this…
That’s why both became one…
Neither were separate nor remained separate.
That is why dear readers, a person associated with Lord Shri Ram can never have pride….
Generally everyone becomes proud of themselves with a little power.
This ego is the biggest obstacle in meeting man and God, that is why a rule has been made to always enter the temple with the head bowed.
So that we can know our ego because the first step on the path of devotion is a life without ego and pride.
