Rameswar Temple Denali Rengali,Angul,Odisha

It is an ancient Temple of Bhagawan Shiva (self incarnated Shiva Linga) constructed by Raja DAYANIDHI Dev Birabar Harichandan Mahapatra, 20th Raja Saheb of Talcher 1846/1873, born 1801. Its told that once The Royal King was in disbelief about the presence of Shiv Linga and tried to put his hand over the place. However his hands were infected with white color and he prayed Bhagaban Shiva to reverse his hands condition. God was pleased and accepted his prayer. As a token of gratitude the King constructed the temple at the top of the mountain.
