One of these is Rojgareshwar Mahadev Temple.This temple, situated in the middle of the road towards Tripolia Bazaar on Chhoti Chowpar, was in the news recently. Due to the Metro Rail project, this temple was demolished by the administration. There was a movement and the government had to rebuild a similar temple. There is also a discussion in this matter that whoever thought wrong about this temple has to suffer its consequences. The temple was demolished in the name of development, but later, due to fear of adverse consequences or people’s agitation,The temple was rebuilt. The temple was built in the same form in which it was earlier. This temple is made of interlocking stones.
Regarding the naming of this ancient temple of Lord Shiva, there is a belief among the people that just by regular darshan of Lord Shiva here, the employment crisis goes away. Business flourishes. This is the reason why the shop owners in the nearby markets come to this temple and bow their heads before opening their shops. It is also believed that if one visits here before going for a job interview, one will definitely get success. That’s why it was named Rojgareshwar Mahadev Temple.
This temple was constructed during the establishment of Jaipur under the guidance of Tantra-Mantra. Since it was in the middle of the road, several attempts were made to remove it but, despite the miracle of God, they failed. Actually the temple remains open throughout the day.

Special tableaux are decorated here in the month of Shravan. Public transportation facility is available from all parts of the city to reach the temple.
