Ancient Rudreshwar Mahadev Temple located in Bhangal Ward No. 13 of Budhanilkantha Municipality of Kathmandu District. This temple is located at the foot of the hill on the left side and on the bank of the river Rudramati on the left side. Rudreshwar Mahadev is described in the religious book Shiva Purana. There are many artistic stones in the temple premises. As you enter through the main entrance of the temple, Rudreshwar Mahadev is a small round black stone under a red flat stone. The temple complex has a very artistic style. In front of the statue of Rudreshwar Mahadev there is a big trident and Nandi and on the left side there is a statue of Buddha. There is a temple of Rudreshwar Mahadev on the bank of the river Rudramati which flows from the middle of the hills and greenery. This place has a unique gift of natural beauty and is very beautiful. This temple attracts a large number of devotees on Rishi Tarpani, Bala Chartudarshi, Shivaratri festival, Swasthani Punirma, Ekadashi and Monday.
