Sahajnath Mahadev Temple Dausa, Rajasthan
Dausa is also known as Devnagari because Panch Mahadev is located here. One of them is Sahaj Nath Mahadev Temple. This temple was established a thousand years ago by Saint Ram’s Kripa Das Ji Maharaj. This temple was established in the south direction of Dausa. City residents come to this temple for worship. Every wish of the devotees coming here is fulfilled. People come here from far and wide to have darshan.
Local people say that Saint Ram Kripa Das Ji Maharaj had performed penance here for the longest time. After doing penance, he was given the idol of Lord Shankar himself and told that Lord Shankar has appeared here at this place and that is why it is called Sahajanath Mahadev. It is said by the people that the design of Sahaj Nath temple is similar to Arjun’s chariot and this temple has been worshiped by the saints here. There is a banyan tree here from the time of this temple. The time of this tree is also said to be sometime after the temple. It is said that whatever a devotee asks for from the temple and the tree with devotion, his wish is fulfilled. People here believe that this is a temple where the saints have taken care of this temple for a long time and worshiped it and four saints have taken Samadhi here. Today there is a tomb of those saints here.
Ramayana is recited here once a year. Ankutavitran is held once a year on Navratri. Pos Bada is organized in winter. An annual fair is held in Sawan, a beautiful tableau is decorated. Dausa is a Devnagari. In Dausa, Panch Mahadev is in different directions.
