Samujeshwar Mahadev Dhundara Jodhpur Rajasthan
Samujeshwar Mahadev temple situated in Samuja village of jodhpur district Rajasthan. According to locals this temple is was built during the rule of Gujrara – Pratihara dynasty.temple premises have ruins of Jain temple and warriors portrait sculpture along with ancient temple.and we can see meracle in the temple while doing Abhishek to Mahadev(Shiv) it observes all water but no one knows where the water flow end .as said by neraby locals shivlinga changes it’s color during morning it’s white ,afternoon Brown and during evening it changes to black blueish color. opposite to temple a small lake is situated.
This is the proof of Shiva being Jyotirlinga. Samujeshwar Mahadev is an east facing Shivalinga where the sun’s rays fall on the Shivalinga through the pond located in front of the temple. There is no hill around for 10 kilometers from the Shivalaya but the end of Shivalinga is like a hill. The elders associated with the village say that the Shivalinga located in the temple is self-existent.
Another specialty of the temple is that even if Rudrabhishek is performed here with a thousand drops of water, the water does not come out from the arrow of Shivalinga. The water collected in the pond in front of the pagoda during the rainy season remains like nectar for six months but after 6 months the water automatically becomes salty.
