1. Ramay Rambhadraya Ramchandraya Vedhse!
Raghunathaya Nathay Sitaya: Pataye Namah!!

रामाय रामभद्राय रामचन्द्राय वेधसे!
रघुनाथाय नाथाय सीतायः पतये नमः!!

Meaning: I worship Lord Ram, Rambhadra, Ramchandra, creator form, Shri Raghunath ji and mother Shri Sita ji.

2.Ram Ram Rameti Rame Rame Manorame.
Sahasranaam Tattulyam Ramanaam Varanne ॥

राम राम रामेति रमे रामे मनोरमे।
सहस्रनाम तत्तुल्यं रमणं वरानने ॥

Meaning: Shivji says to Mother Parvati that since the name of Shri Ram is present in the mouth, chant this twelve syllable name Ram Ram Ram. Hey Parvati! I too enjoy this charming Ram.This name Ram is equivalent to the Sahasranaam of Lord Vishnu. Lord Rama’s name ‘Ram’ has been said to be equivalent to Vishnu Sahasranama. This mantra is also called Shri Ram Tarak Mantra. And its chanting is equivalent to chanting the entire Vishnu Sahasranama or 1000 names of Vishnu. This mantra is also known as Shri Ram Raksha Stotram.

3.Om Bhurbhuv: Swa: Tatsaviturvarenyam Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi Dhiyo Yo Na: Prachodayat.

ॐ भूर्भुव: स्व: तत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं भर्गो देवस्य धीमहि धियो यो न: प्रचोदयात्।

– This mantra is dedicated to God and Sun.

Meaning: We meditate on the glory of the Creator and the luminous God, may that glory of God inspire our intellect to move towards the right path.

4.Om Trimbakam Yajamahe Sugandhi Pushtivardhanam.
Urvarukamiv Bandhananmrityormukshiya Maaamritat ||

ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम्।
उर्वारुकमिव बंधनान्मृत्योर्मुक्षीय मामृतात् ||

Meaning of the Mantra: We worship the Trinetra, who is fragrant, nourishes us, just as the fruit is freed from the bondage of the branch, may we also be freed from death and impermanence.

5.Vakratunda Mahakaya Suryakoti Samaprabh.

nirvighnan kuru me dev sarvakaaryeshu sarvada .

वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ।

निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा।

Meaning: Whose face is curved. Who has a huge body, who is as bright as millions of suns, who can spread the light of knowledge all around, who can remove all the obstacles in my work, O Lord, please remove all the obstacles in my work quickly. May you always keep your kind eyes on me.

6.Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare.
Hare Ram, Hare Ram, Ram Ram Hare Hare..

हरे कृष्ण, हरे कृष्ण, कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे।
हरे राम, हरे राम, राम राम हरे हरे..

Meaning: In this Ram and Krishna mantra, the word Hare is considered to be the address of Shri Vishnu and Lord Shiva. Lord Vishnu is called Hari and Lord Shiva is called Har, both of them combined together become Hare. In this way, it is a combined mantra of Vishnu, Shiva, Ram and Krishna.

7. Manojvam maruttulyvagam jitendriya buddhimatam varishtham.
Vaatatmajan vanarayuthamukhyam shriramdootam sharanam prapadye. – Ramrakshastotram 23

मनोजवं मारुत्तुल्यवगं जीतेन्द्रिय बुद्धिमतं वरिष्ठम्।
वातात्मजं वानरयुथमुख्यं श्रीरामदूतं शरणं प्रपद्ये। – रामरक्षास्तोत्रम 23

Meaning: I take refuge in Shri Ramdoot, the chief among the monkeys, the son of the wind, who has the speed of mind and speed like the wind, who is the most intelligent and intelligent. In Kaliyuga, devotion to anyone else has no greater power than devotion to Hanumanji.

14.Om Neelanjan Samabhasam Raviputram Yamagrajam.
Chhayamartanda Sambhootam Tan Namami Shanaishcharam.

ॐ नीलांजन समाभासं रविपुत्रं यमाग्रजम।
छायामार्तण्ड सम्भूतं तं नमामि शनैश्चरम्।

Meaning of the mantra: Who has a blue colored body, who is the son of Shadow and Sun and who is the elder brother of Yama. I salute that Saturday.

15.Uttishtat Jagrat Prapya Varannibodhat.
Kshurasya Dhara Nishita Duratya Durga Pathastatkavyo Vadanti ॥14॥ – Kathopanishad (Krishna Yajurveda)

उत्तिष्ठत जाग्रत प्राप्य वरान्निबोधत।
क्षुरस्य धारा निशिता दुरत्या दुर्गा पथस्तत्काव्यो वदन्ति ॥14॥ – कठोपनिषद (कृष्ण यजुर्वेद)

Meaning: (O humans) wake up, wake up (be conscious). Gain knowledge by meeting (going to) great (knowledgeable) men. Trikaldarshi (knowledgeable man) calls that path (the path of Tatvgyan) as inaccessible (extremely difficult) as a sharp (difficult to cross) stream.

16. Prathamenaarjita Vidya Dwitiyenarjitam Dhanam. Tritiyenarjitah kirtih chaturthe ki karishyati.

प्रथमेनार्जिता विद्या द्वितीयेनर्जितं धनम्। तृतीयेनर्जिताः कीर्तिः चतुर्थे किं करिष्यति।

Meaning: One who has not acquired knowledge in the first i.e. Brahmacharya Ashram, second i.e. has not acquired wealth in the Grihastha Ashram, third i.e. has not earned fame in the Vanaprastha Ashram, what will he do in the fourth i.e. Sannyasa Ashram?

17. Verse:.. vidya mitran bhramaneshu bhaarya mitran grheshu ch.

rugnasy chaushadhan mitran dharmo mitran mrtasy ch..

श्लोक:.. विद्या मित्रं भ्रमणेषु भार्या मित्रं गृहेषु च।

रूग्नस्य चौषधन मित्रं धर्मो मित्रं मृतस्य च।।

Meaning: Knowledge is the friend of travel, wife is the friend of home, medicine is the friend of travel and religion is the friend of travel.

18. Verse:.. om sah naavavatu. sah nau bhunaktu. sah veeryan karavaavahai.

tejasvinaavadheetamastu ma vidavishaavahai. 19.(kathopanishad – krshn yajurved)

श्लोक:.. ॐ सः नाववतु। सः नौ भुनक्तु। सः वीर्यं करवावहै।

तेजस्विनावधीतमस्तु मा विदविशावहै। 19.(कठोपनिषद – कृष्ण यजुर्वेद)

That is: May God protect us both the disciple and the teacher together, may we both enjoy the fruits of knowledge together, may we both attain the principle of attaining knowledge together, may we both live together and develop, may we Both should not hate each other. The mind of the person who has the above type of feelings remains pure. A pure future arises from a pure mind.

19. Alasasya kutah vidya avidyasya kutah dhanam. Adhanasya Kutah Mitram Amitrasya Kutah Sukham.

अलसस्य कुतः विद्या अविद्यास्य कुतः धनम्। अधनस्य कुतः मित्रं अमित्रस्य कुतः सुखम्।

Meaning: Where is knowledge for the lazy, where is wealth for the illiterate or foolish, where is the friend for the poor and where is the happiness for the unfriendly.
