Swayambhu Shiva Parvati Temple, Mahankal. Swayambhu Devotion of Sri Mahadev. A very beautiful, peaceful and rare place on the banks of Kamandalu river in Kavathe Mahankal city. The temple was built 300 years ago by Girdhari Kuber Das Maharaj Ji. A black colored Shivalinga is installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. There are two Shivalingas built on the same water reservoir on the side of the temple wall. One has to bow down to enter the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.
