Sanjeevni Hanuman Temple Kasauli/Hanuman Temple Kasauli
The legend says that during Ramayan, when lord Lakshman was injured and Hanuman ji was asked to carry sanjeevni for him, his one foot touched this mount top and hence people made a temple there dedicating to him.
There are staircases and ramp to reach the top. It’s a good height of around 500ms to climb to reach the temple. You will take about 30-45 minutes to reach on the top.
You can buy Prasad on the top itself. There is a small shop where you can eat snacks but don’t forget to carry cash because you will not have for phone with you and card doesn’t work here.
It’s quite windy at the top so don’t forget to carry a stall or a light sweater based on the weather you can decide
The entry is till 1PM in the afternoon and than it reopens at 2PM. The temple is not closed just at the entry gate where you get passes these people are on lunch break.
It’s advised to wear shoes because the stairs are Rocky and good distance to walk.
