Sankatmochan Hanuman Temple- Muhas

Sankatmochan Hanuman Temple is located in Muhas village near Katni City of Madhya Pradesh. The fame of the temple is spread all over Bharath desh,the fame of the temple is not the path of worship or any other religious work, but it is the treatment of diseases that are cured by the practice of the temple. This temple is dedicated to Hanuman Ji, a great devotee of Lord Rama. This is a miraculous temple where every disease of the people is cured and it is believed that all this happens with the grace and blessings of Lord Hanuman. Especially there is a crowd of people suffering from bone diseases and this temple is also known as Bone Disease Vicesag Hanuman Temple.

Here Hanuman ji is also called Doctor Hanuman ji and he is also called Orthopedic Specialist. The Sankatmochan Temple of Muhas village is witnessing a huge footfall after a word spread that the ‘miraculous’ herbs here can heal fractures in no time.

According to legend, the father of Panda Sarman Patel was asked by a monk in the forest to do good for people and gave him some herbs. He first used the herbs to heal the broken bone of a cow, and after seeing success, he began offering herbs to people from the platform of Hanumanji in the field. His son Sarman has continued this tradition, and the crowd of people seeking treatment has grown over time.

Although doctors have not been able to confirm the scientific validity of the herbs, even though many patients have reported positive results.

It is said that patients who arrives on stretchers or in ambulances, leave temple on their own feet, with their broken bones seemingly healed. The temple is busiest on Tuesdays and Saturdays, as these days are believed to be of Lord Hanuman’s.
