Selogriyo Temple Indonesia

The Selogriyo Temple is an original and unique discovery of the lush nature of Java. It is a small Hindu temple, built earlier than Borobudur Temple. It is at the head of a small valley, with many rice terraces on the slopes. This is the landscape of Java that we see in some magazines.

Temple is recently re-built and somehow characteristic of the temples in Yogya. Wonderful place, the temple it self is small but the surroundings area itself is worth the visit. Beautiful rice fields, amazing spots to take nice pictures. This temple is in the deep one of the village in Magelang. We can found how Indonesian live in this area, farming, plantation.
