This temple is one of the oldest temple in near keshpur village. The Along with Lord Shiva’s temple, there are many small temples in the premises. Shivratri is one of the most celebrated festivals here. 1000s of devotees gather here to offer prayer.

There exist an exciting local tale.

In very old time this place was inside a very deep and dense forest.
One of the local rich person used to send many cows to this forest for grazing.
He found that amount of milk production from one of his healthy cow was reduced severely.
So he instructed the cowboy 2 look after this matter. The cow boy found that, inside forest the cow become separated from group and went inside the deep forest.
Inside that forest in a particular place he used stand in a particular place and automatically milking to ground.
As per the instruction of local rich person he frightened the cow, by thinking that next time cow will not come to this place.
As the cow get frightened by cowboy, so he rush here and there, and one of his leg put inside the wet ground where she milking. From that place so much blood came out.
To know the reason the cowboy remove the sand from the top and found that there was shivalinga, snake, dambaru and other holy statues.
Later God came into the dream of the rich person and instructed him to build a temple.

Near Temple there exist one pond. During that time the forest animals like tiger, leopard, elephant, monkey and other forest animals used to come here for drinking water.

This place is very sacred and having holy power.
