Shankhai Dham Jai Shree Shiva Myanmar
Largest and famous Hindu temple located in Northern Shan State, Lashio Myanmar. In 1903, railway construction work was going on here under the British rule. During the work, the workers found idols of Lord Shiva and Lord Ganesha here. On the request of the workers, the British Railway Administration stopped the railway work and declared this place a pilgrimage place. Since then, whenever a train passes through this place, the railway driver blows the whistle in honour of the Lord. In 1935, Shri Ghansham got the temple renovated. It is believed that all wishes are fulfilled if one visits the temple three times.
