Saiva Tamil Sangam Arulmigu Shiva Temple

A gathering of Zurich-based Saiva eminent personalities, priests and Tamil national activists was held in the Volkshaus Hall in mid-August 1994. At this gathering, it was decided to form the Saiva Tamil Sangam with the following objectives.

Since 26.08.1994, pujas have been held in the hall rented out every Friday with images of the deity.

Lord shiva temple .Shivaiah is most powerful god Hindu temple . This temple was built in the year 1994 and is really beautiful, peaceful with welcoming staff members. Panditji will be available and accepts offerings for the lord. One is lucky to take darshan of Ganpati Bappa, Mata Parvati, Pita Shivji in Shivlinga as well as Natraj swaroop, Nandi Maharaj, Senapati Kartikeya and few utsav murtis within the temple. It is just 100meters walk away from Bahnhof Glattbrugg tram/railway station. Also, you may purchase little pooja items like rudraksh mala, dhoop, etc. and various types of flour packed in small quantities.
Nice temple. Construction for new temple is in progress, work expected to complete in 2026. Temple is really good with several different deities – Sri Ganesha, Sri Murugan, Sri Parvathi, Sri Bhramha, Sri Nagaraja and many others including Sri Navagraha.
