Chitrakoot Shakti Peeth also known as Ramgiri Shaktpeeth & Shivani Shaktipeeth is dedicated to Goddess Sati in the form of Shivani is one of the 51 Shakti Peetth temples located in Chitrakoot in Uttar Pradesh. The idol of Devi over here is known as Shivani and Lord Shiva is known as Chanda. This shakti peeth is also famous as Maa Shivani Shakti Peeth among locals.

The first known mention of Chitrakoot is in Valmiki Ramayana. Mahakavi Kalidasa describes Chitrakoot as Ramgiri due to his Bhakti to Lord Rama. Tulsidas, the saint-poet of Hindi is said to have had darshan of Lord Ram at Chitrakoot.
