Shree Chandra Vinayak Mandir Kathmandu
Chandra Vinayak is a Hindu temple located in Kathmandu district at Chabahil. This temple is of Lord Ganesha also known as Binayak. The god is worshipped as the god of luck by Hindus. The temple hosts one of the four original Ganesh shrines of Kathmandu valley. The Ganesha is the formless Divinity – encapsulated in a magnificent form, for the benefit of the devotee. As per Hindu mythology, he is the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
At Tuesday many people came here for to worship Ganesh here. Along with modak, and Coconut Laddoo, Puran Poli tops the list of favourite bhog offered to Lord Ganesha on Ganesha Chaturthi. Puran Poli is a flat bread made of maida stuffed with sweet lentils and jaggery.
