Shri Rudreshwar temple has a delightful ambience.Otherwise called the sanctuary of Lord Shiva, the temple is situated along the Harvalem waterfalls. This place is vary famous since ancient days. There are famous caves here and must be seen by visitors of this place. Lord shiva is worshipped here in the name of rudreshwara. Mahashivaratri is the most important festival here and attracts great croud. On this auspicious day everyone is allowed to enter in the Garbhagruha and touch the Pindi of Shiva. Close to it there is a waterfall which is picturesque. The place is quite and clean. The waters here sreknown as kotirtha since olden days. One need not go to Ganga river at Kashi for doing final rites of expired relatives. Such is the great importance of the place.
