Shri 1008 Chandraprabhu Digambar Jain Mandir, Jail Road, Milki Mohalla, Arrah,Bhojpur,Bihar
It is a century old Jain temple situated in Masadha village. It is said about this temple that Lord Parshvanath, the 23rd Tirthankar of Jainism, had rested in Masadha village when he was going from Banaras to Sammed Shikhar after attaining salvation. The famous Chinese traveler Hsien Tsang, who visited here in the seventh century, has mentioned it in his travelogue. This temple is run by Shri Moon Lal Endowment Trust. It is located in Masadh village, about 9 kilometers from Arrah.
It is the very oldest temple of jain religion. It is believed that it is built 300 years back. It is the very peaceful place where people went to relax their mind. It is the only place where jain people worship. In this temple there are many god present like bhagwan mahavir and bhagwan parshwanath and other thirthankars. In the temple there is a big garden which is very beautiful many flowers and plants are planted in it. The temple is situated at jail road old named bhagwan mahavir marg. There is also a rest house in it. There is also a hindu temple is situated beside this temple named joda Mandir. There is a litti shop are on the temple street. Many tourists came here dialy to see the temple from the different types of areas and also from foreign. It is also believed that jain mata ji vimal prabha mata ji born here means it is the birth place of vimal prabha mata ji. This temple organise many programmes on different festivals more and more peole guide together here to celebrate festivals.
