Pavagadh is a legendary pilgrimage site. The mountain is home to the ruins of an ancient fort and several palaces. The foothills are known as Champaner village. Five million sages, including Luv and Kush, attained salvation from here.

The area is surrounded by mountains. The distance is 3 km. You can reach it by ropeway, which has 1500 steps.

There is a convenient ropeway (Udan Khatola) to reach the mountain from Manchi, which is 3 km away. Bus service is available from the temple to reach Manchi.

There is a fully equipped Dharamshala in the area. Number of temples in the area: 10 (7 on the mountain, 3 at the foothills).
