Shri Vighn-har Parshv Nath (Atishaya Kshetra) Digamber Jain Mandir is situated at the bank of Poorna river, opposite to Pavagarh, Taranga, Gajpantha, Girnar etc. kshetras situated at hills in Gujarat.

In ancient times, this temple was famous as Shri 1008 Bhagvan Chandra-Prabhu Digamber Jain Mandir and this village was called Madhupuri. Script carved on wooden pillars of temple shows that this kshetra is more than 1000 years old. This temple was reconstructed in V. S. 1625 & 1827. building of temple shows that 1000 years ago, there lived a huge population of Jains in this area.

It’s a holy jain temple dedicated to tirthankar parshwanath. Temple was build more than 500 year ago and very well maintained. It is situated on the Bank of river. For stay modern dharmshala and jain bhojnalay is available. Beautiful jain temple situated on the bank of purna river at Mahuva. It is very ancient temple. It’s so beautiful and divine.

The Parshvanath temple in Mahuva, Surat, is a Jain temple dedicated to the 23rd Tirthankara, Parshvanatha. It was constructed in the 15th century. Some accounts also mention a 1000-year-old temple at the same location The temple, known as Lal Mandir or the Red Temple, is a significant pilgrimage site for Jains and so many other castes ppl also followed and visit for worship.

A very pleasant temple to visit. Be sure to make your way to the bottom where some of the original artifacts were discovered; hence, the temple built around it. Also there is a way to the top of the temple. The open space next to the temple has a pretty view of the river. The temple is well kept. A nice visit when in Mahuva.

It’s an ancient Jain tirth. You will feel blessed after visiting this temple. Lord Parshnavnath bhagwan idol is very beautiful and treat to the eye’s. Temple is clean and well maintained with all the facilities.

The place was earlier know as Madhupuri. A inscription in wood mentions that the temple is more than 1000 years old. It also says that Mahuva once upon a time had ‘Bhattarak’ seat and was maintained by Digambar Jains. This place is on the banks of river Poornima and inside the heart of the village. A huge Jain population lived here once upon a time. Atishay: The Parshwanath idol was found in a farm in village Sultanabad, District Pashchim. Maharashtra. For some time the idol was worshiped in the farm but later on it was decided to shift the idol to a safe and suitable place. A Chariot was arranged. Once aboard neither the chariot could be stopped nor the idol could be brought down from the chariot. At last, the chariot stopped before Bhagvan Chandra Prabhu Digamber Jain Mandir of Mahua and hear the idol was easily brought down of chariot. Then a Panch Kalyanak Pratishtha Mahotsava was organized, and thus reverenced idol was established in the central room of temple. Bhagvan Chandra Prabhu’s idol was placed in the right side and Bhagvan Shantinath’s in left side of this miraculous idol of Bhagvan Parshv Nath. Evidence from scriptures: Shri Brahm Gyan Sagar writes that various digambar Jain Munis and Digambar Jains Sharavaks often come here for pilgrimage. Bhattarak Vadi Chandra, the scholar of Bhattarak Prabha Chandra wrote a play here in 1592 called ‘Gyan-Suryodaya Natak’, Shri Brahm-Harsh a scholar of Shri Lakshmisen also described Shri Parshv Nath of Mahua.

Superb impressive sand made idol of shree 1008 parshwath bhagawan. Very very peaceful place. You should mus visit this place. It’s in Gujarat Surat
