According to the story, in Treitayuga, Lord Shri Ram rested with his younger brother Lakshman and Mother Sita during his exile. Due to this the village was named Ramsen and later gradually it came to be known and known as Ramseen. There is also a pond outside the temple. Its water is considered similar to the water of Dwarka.
