It is believed that this temple is mythological. The ancient remains lying in the temple indicate that the temple must have had some history. An inscription is also present in the courtyard of the temple. Shivalinga and Jalhari are made of the same stone. Shivalinga is black in colour. And Shivalinga is considered to be natural Shivalinga.
