It is also a Cantonment. Shri Vardhaman Shah, Shri Padamsingh Seth, Shri Tejsi Seth and Shri Raisingh Seth came from Bhadreshwar and settled in Jamnagar. These 4 Shresthis built a beautiful and huge temple here. The temple is known as Choriwala Derasar as there is Neminath bhagwan Chori (Mandap of wedding) made inside this derasar. The alluring idol of Bhabha Parshvanath was installed here on the 8th day of the bright half of the month of Vaisakh in V.S.1678 by the revered hands of Acharya Shri Kalyansagarsurishvarji. Most of the people of the Jain community of Jamnagar stay abroad but they have made use of their money in all religious activities (7 Shetras). Many temples have been built by them in all the villages in Jamnagar. Bit crowded in Morning as Jains over here daily do pooja.
Mulnayak:
Nearly 118 cms. high black – coloured idol of Bhagwan Bhabha Parshvanath in the Padmasana posture. There is an umbrella of 7 hoods over the head of the idol. This idol is made of sand.
Tirth:
It is in Jamnagar in Saurashtra. There are 2 other temples of Bhabha Parshvanath – one in Patan and the other in Ahmedabad.
