Shri Chakreshwar Mahadev Temple Kasganj

The temple was renovated 400 years ago. There is a red and brown colored Shivalinga in the temple which is self-contained. Hiranyakashyap was killed by Lord Varaha in Satyayuga. After that, he kept the Chakra near him and kept it in the pond dug by his nails, which is currently known as Har Ki Paadi Ganga. From the root of the Chakra, a pindi emerged, which was named Chakreshwar.
