Raja Mansingh had built this special temple in Jaipur Shri Chandpole Hanuman Ji Temple, Jaipur

Shri Chandpole Hanuman Ji Temple – Jaipur
In the city of Jaipur, known as Pink City, there is an ancient temple of Hanumanji located in Chandpol in the park, in which the entire city residents have faith. This temple was built by Raja Mansingh in 1727 AD. The king was particularly inclined towards the spread of the Bhakti cult, especially towards Hanumanji offering strength, knowledge and help in suffering.
The idol of Hanuman ji is facing south.
The idol of Hanuman ji is very rare, which is five and a half feet high and three and a quarter feet wide. Vermillion paste is applied to the idol, due to which it becomes vermillion coloured. It is called “chola” or covering. Here the deity faces south.
This temple is the center of faith of Vaishnav, Shakta, Shaiva and in general all Hindu, Jain and Sikh sects. The sanctuary-sanctum is beautifully decorated with carved designs in marble. The prayer room is also very attractive. The peak of the temple rises to a height of 25 feet. A gold polished copper Kalash is installed on the pinnacle. On the walls of Shikher there are sixteen engraved paintings with themes from Ramcharit Manas. On the terrace, Ram Panchayat i.e. Lord Ram and Mother Sita are seated on the royal throne, the three brothers are with them and Hanuman ji is in service. A huge crowd of devotees throngs the temple. Devotees visit the temple in large numbers especially on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Tribute to Shabari and Tulsi
It is believed that the construction of the temple took 8 years. The temple is made of limestone, ordinary building stone, marble and granite. The Jagamohan or puja hall of the temple has artistic mirror work depicting Chitrakoot, where Tulsidas is making sandalwood paste and Raghubir (Rama) is applying tilak on Tulsi’s forehead with his hand. Another picture is of Shabri, who is tasting every berry. Another picture is of baby Ram. It is a pleasure to look at these pictures. Devotees can be seen reciting devotional texts from Ramayana, Sunderkand, Hanuman Chalisa, Bajrang Baan etc.
