This most ancient and impressive Tirth is 11 km from Borsad on the banks of river Mahisagar. It is in the state of Gujarat at a distance of 100 km.
The ancient name of this tirth is Varikhilyanagari, later Valmikinagari is mentioned in the literature. This place of pilgrimage was attained by the sons of Shri Adinath Dada, Shri Dravidji and Shri Varikhilyaji who were tapasyas and later attained salvation from Giriraj by practicing pure abstinence.
