Shri Godi Parshvnath Ka Pagliya Shwetamber Jain Derasar, Varkhadi, Radhanpur,Patan,Gujarat
The small shrine of Shri Godiji Parshvanath Prabhu is located here. Located in a large courtyard, it is known as the Varkhadi Temple because of the presence of a Varkhadi tree (Pilu tree) near the shrine. Sugar falls from the Varkhadi tree here. This place is considered miraculous.
According to a detailed account, Parkar’s native Shri Megha Shah had a dream indication according to which he obtained the idol of Shri Godi Parshvanathji from the Suba of Patan and along with his brother-in-law Kajal Shah, left from here on a camel and spent the night here. Here, the Lord’s idol disappeared as soon as the casket was opened, then reappeared. Knowing the significance of the Lord’s idol, the people here performed devotion and installed the Lord’s Paduka.
According to another account, a group from Jaisalmer came to Radhanpur, where water was a serious problem at the time. The disciples were worried, and by the grace of Godi Parshvanath, a river called Gevau emerged at this location. The group stopped here and installed the Lord Godi’s Paduka.
