Shri Jai Tribhuvan Manmohan Parshvnath Jain Tirth, Nandasan,Mahesana,Gujarat

Share

It is a beautiful and spacious pilgrimage site of Lord manmohak Parshvanath, with an excellent Dharamshala for accommodation, and a bhojanshala for navkarshi, ekasana, biyasana, and chovihar. Since the pilgrimage site is located adjacent to the Nandasan Highway, it is also very convenient to visit. The beautiful jinalaya of Lord Parshvanath here looks like a dev viman.

About 127 cms. tall idol of Lord Manmohan Parshvanath, white in Padmasana posture, is the present Moolnayak. The old and ancient idol of Lord Parshvanath Manmohan is about 33 cms. in Padmasana posture.

It is on Mehsana highway outside Nandasan village in Gujarat.

Nandasan is an ancient Teerth. The new temple was built under the instruction of Acharya Srimadvijay Rajendrasurishvarji and in V.S. 2052, the new idol of Lord Manmohan Parshvanath was installed in the temple on the 7th day of the bright half of the month of Vaisakha by the revered hands of Acharya Srimadvijay Rajendrasurishvarji.

The old idol of Manmohan Parshvanath was brought from the old village of Nandasan about 40 years ago and kept in a sanctuary here. This shrine is also known as Jayatribhavan shrine. The idol of Lord Parshvanath is magnificent, charming, delightful and miraculous. Jains and non-Jains come here from far and wide to pray. It is believed that if prayers are offered with faith and devotion, the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled.

Nandasan Teerth, Gujarat-89, Shri Jai Tribhuvan (Manmohan) Parshvanath Jinalaya.
