Built in the middle of a lotus-filled pond, this marble temple holds great historical and religious significance as it marks the spot where Lord Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara, attained nirvana and was cremated.

Jal Mandir is located at the center of the lake. The entire temple, along with the bridge and its road, was decorated for the Mahaveer Bhagwan Nirvan Moksha Mahotsav on Diwali. You need to arrive by 4 AM to be early in the queue. Early morning Till 10 AM they use Digambar way for Pooja and later on till 10 PM it is with Shwetambar. But everyone can go at any time.
