Provide and establish a place of worship. Advance the HINDU Religion according to the special traditions prevailing in SRILANKA AND TAMIL NADU.
History
- The temple was founded on the 10th August 1991 at Harrow Honey Bond Hall.
- The place of worship was moved to Southall Shakelton Hall on 25.10.1991 and later moved to Wembley Union Hall on 11.08.1992.
- The first Executive Committee was formed on 14.04.1993.
- The current temple premises was purchased on 09.06.1995.
- The first ‘Maha Kumbabishekam’ (“Consecration Ceremony” – மகாகும்பாபிஷேகம் – குடமுழுக்கு விழா ) was held on the 6th of June 1999.
- The first ‘Mahotsavam’ was held from 20.07.2001 for 25 days.
- The second ‘Maha Kumbabishekam’ (“Consecration Ceremony” – மகாகும்பாபிஷேகம் – குடமுழுக்கு விழா ) was held on the 6th of June 2011.
