Shri Kolhua Pahad Digambar Jain Siddh Kshetra, Village Dantaar,Chatra,Jharkhand

The Kolhua Pahar pilgrimage site is a revered site where the 10th Tirthankar, Lord Shitalnath, attained enlightenment through penance. It is a very ancient and picturesque area. The Jain inscriptions, statues, temples etc. available on the mountain are silently singing the praises of the antiquity and glorious tradition of culture of the region. The dense forests situated on the mountain, fragrant herbs, huge lakes filled with clear water and the mountain ranges spread far and wide are spreading the amazing and attractive clouds of their natural beauty. This area is located in the Hunterganj block of Chatra district in Jharkhand state. Ghanghari village is located 15 miles from Dobhi on the road to Chatra. From here, a beautiful, 5-mile dirt road leads to Dantar. There is a Digambara Jain temple and a Chaityalay here. A short walk from here leads up the mountain.
