Very nice and beautiful derasar (jain temple) in city area. Its in one of the 108 Parshwnath temple in Zaverivad Ahmedabad.
One of 108 Parshvnath known as Mulewa / Moraiya Parshvnath resides in this Adinath Jinalaya.
Moraiya Parshvnath pratima is of white marble, WITHOUT ANY PHANA, in padmasan posture, is worshipped continuously throughout the day by a large no. of devotees, all through the year. His almighty is seated on the right side of moolnayak Shri Adeshwarji and it is said that NOBODY is ever able to complete six months of continuous daily darshan, without any break. This pratima is over 300 years old, at least. Although Moolnayak is Adinath, this area and derasar is more commonly famous as Moraiya Parshvnath Derasar.
On the top floor is Shyam, Chintamani Parshvnath pratima with a kingly posture & gesture of the Nag devta in its Lanchan place. This Demanding Nag devta ‘s tail engulfs the parmatma body from all sides with the result devotees also get their eyesight engulfed / blinded in the pratima ,as a whole.
Several devotees visit this derasar daily as a routine. Located at Panjara pol, relief rd.
