Jain temple of the lord Padmaprabhu.

Padmaprabha, or Padmaprabhu, is the 6th Tirthankara of the current Avasarpini period according to Jainism. He was born into the Ikshvaku clan (Kashyapa gotra) in Kaushambi (present-day Uttar Pradesh) to King Sridhara and Queen Sushimadevi. His birth date is Kartak Vad Baras. The new born child had an aura like a pale pink lotus flower. Hence he was named Padmaprabh. His height (body proportions) was 250 bows (750 m). His life span was 30,00,000 BC (211.68 Quintillion years). When the prince was young, he was married. His father left the world to lead a spiritual life and became King Padmaprabha. After a long and successful reign some time following his Trikala Jnana he realized that the time had come to renounce the world and he along with 1000 other princes adopted austerities. He spent 13 previous years as an ascetic and 6 months in meditation and spiritual practice. After six months of intense penance, he attained absolute enlightenment under a banyan tree on the day of Chaitra Sud Punam. Among his followers were Sadhu- 330,000 and Sadhvi- Rati etc. 42000 Sravaka- 276000 and Sravika 505000.
He spread the true religion among the people and reached the summit. On the eleventh day of Magasar Vad Agiyaras along with his 308 monks went to salvation from Sammet peak.
