Mulnayak Shri Shri Shamla Parshwanath Bhagwan, nearly 35 cms. high black coloured idol in the Padmasana posture. There is an umbrella of 7 hoods over the head of the idol. On the left side of mulnayak the idol of Shri Shitalnath Bhagwan and on the right side the idol of Shri Chandraprbh Bhagwan.
Main mandir of shree shamla parshwanath ji is of three stories. Mulnayak shree Shamla parshwanath, first floor Samprati kalin shree Amizara Parshwanath and second floor shree Jiravala parshwanath bhagwan.
The temple is in Shamalaji ni Pole in the city of Ahmedabad.This is an ancient temple belonging to the 17th century. It was built by Sanghvi Somji and his. brother Shiva, the descendants of Minister Vastupal, in V.S.1656. The wood carvings in this temple is superb. The scenes of Kalyanak Mahotsavs of Thirthankaras is beautifully carved in wood and is unique. There is no comparison for it. This temple is very famous for its extraordinary carvings done on wood. The idol of Shamala Parshwanath is ancient, alluring and influential.
A marble idol of Bhagwan Parshwanath in Kausagga mudra in this temple is also very impressive and beautiful.
The main temple of Shamala Parshwanath is in Shyamalaji ni Pole in Ahmedabad. There is a temple of Shamala Parshwanath in Devsano pado and in Lambesar ni Pole in Ahmedabad.
