Shree Shankheshwar Parshwanath Jain Derasar in Sector 22 is a peaceful and culturally rich Jain temple serving Gandhinagar’s Shwetambar community. The temple is open daily from 5:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Spirituality & Design
The two-storey temple features elegant Jain iconography—a ground-floor shrine with the mulnayak deity Shankheshwar Parshwanath and a first-floor shrine with Sambhavnath Ji, Chandraprabhu and other deities. Remarkably, the temple earns praise from visitors for operating entirely without electricity, relying solely on traditional oil and ghee lamps to preserve sanctity . The devotional ambiance is described as “mesmerizing” and inclusive of all age groups, offering tranquility and space for deep prayer .

The temple houses a large aradhana hall that accommodates 300–350 worshippers, pathways for senior citizens, a religious library with over 2,000 books, and a daily pathshala for spiritual education .
