Shri Shantinath Bhagwan Shwetamber Jain Derasar, Dhamadka,Kachchh,Gujarat
There is a village called Dhamkada in Anjar of Kutch. There was a 400-500 years old temple. There was a contemporary idol of Lord Shantinath in the Jain temple. When the earthquake struck in 2012, the Jain temple was damaged.
Around the year 2015, a new village was settled and a new home Jain temple was built and Shri Shantinath Bhagwan was installed. On 28/01/2000, the Shikharbandh Jain temple was built and the installation was done by Pujya Acharya Shri Kalapurnasuriji M.S.
One year had passed since the consecration and in the earthquake that occurred on 26/01/2001, the Jain temple was damaged and the idol of the main deity Shri Shantinath Bhagwan was broken.
On the day of Kartik Vad 8, Samvat 2065 (20/11/2008), a new Jain temple was built under the guidance of Pujya Acharya Shri Kalaprabhsuriji M.S. and other saints and Sadhviji Bhagwant and Shri Sheetalnath Bhagwan was installed. This pilgrimage is included in the 68 pilgrimages of Navkar.
