The Kothara Shantinath Jain Tirth is a Jain temple dedicated to the 16th Tirthankara Shantinatha. It is located in Kothara village of Kutch district, Gujarat, India. The temple was built in 1861 and is an important pilgrimage site for Jains.

The temple is dedicated to Shantinatha and is an important place of pilgrimage for the followers of Jainism. The temple of two storeys with five domes is dedicated to Bhagwan Shantinath – 16th Tirthankar of Jainism.
The architecture is stunning, and the atmosphere is incredibly calming, making it a perfect spot for prayer and reflection.

This was constructed by shah velji mali, shah keshavji nayak, shivji nensi and osval vanias of kothara. This temple was constructed by mistry of kutch under the supervision of salat nathu of sambhrai. The idol of shantinath bhagwan was installed by M.s rantasagar suri of achalgacch. In a famous poem Keshavji nayak, this temple is compared with meruprabha temple in Palitana giving the temple name kalyan tunk.
This temple is surrounded by high fort and five cells gate. Through a very rich two – storied enterance gates and outer yard surrounded by buildings set apart for the use of priests opens into a walled quadrangle with a shrine in each wall. The domed hall, mandap rises in two stories and over the shrine is a spire with richly carved figure niches and mouldings. Must visit this tirth if starting from bhuj.
The Shantinath statue was formally installed by Acharya Ratnasagarsuri of Achal Gaccha. This temple is also named ‘Kalyan Tunk’ after the writer of the poem ‘Keshavji Nayak’ on the Palitana temples, who was a native of this place. This chief temple is compared to the Meruprabha temple.
