A beautiful Mahadev Temple located at the entrance of Polo Forest. Most of the Temple is demolished apart from the outer walls, the shikhara and the mandap. Intecrate carvings surround the temple outer wall, in all a place which reflect the magnificent beuty of Indian temple architecture traditions. This Shiv temple is very well architectured in 15th century. Nandiji is seated on a pillar higher than Lord Shiva. You will find the temple premises very photogenic.

This Shiv temple known as Sharneshwar temple(Shiv Panchayatan),14th centuary Shiv temple has walled and wonderful stone carving with dancing Ganpati,erotic statue is carved.Sharneshwar Mahadev temple is replica of Sharneshwar mahadev of Shirohi. bcz it is believed that this temple was built by Queen of Polo Dynasty. She has religious observance for Lord Shiv. There is wonderful story behind her dream and this temple. Rao Bhan of Idar state built fort around this temple in 16-17 century. This temple is again Shiv Panchayatan with influence of various architectures like Buddhism, Indian(Nagar shaily), Far-eastern. Beautiful and amazing laqure workmanship is worth to study and observe. It is beside the entrance of polo forest.
