Khandva. The temple of Shri Til Bhandeshwar Mahadev located in Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh is about 700 years old. It is believed that the Shivalinga present in the temple is also very miraculous. Visitors from nearby areas come here every day to have darshan of Bhole Baba, but in the month of Shravan, worshiping and worshiping Bholenath has special significance. Regarding the history and religious beliefs related to the temple, the Pandit told that Shri Tilbhandeshwar Mahadev Temple is situated in the middle of the city. The antiquity of the temple can be gauged from the fact that it has been self-manifested since the time when this city did not even exist. There is Shivalinga. In whose reservoir water remains for 24 hours. No matter how intense the heat is, this water never dries up. The reservoir always remains submerged in water throughout the year, 24 hours a day.
Pandit ji further explains that this is our 11th generation serving Mahadev. Our ancestors tell that when Devdhidev Mahadev appeared in the form of Shivling, he was in small form. Since then, every year on the day of Makar Sankranti, Bhole Baba keeps growing in the size of a sesame seed. This is the visible miracle of Lord Shiva which gives darshan to his devotees.
